Music by The Piano Brothers

Peter Michael Taborsky, 64, known to all who loved him as T-byrd, passed away Monday May 15, 2017 in Frisco, Colorado.  T-byrd was born in Ypsilanti Michigan on June 3, 1952 to Karel & Betty Taborsky.  In 1992, he married the love of his life, Sara Reinhardt at Sapphire Point near Silverthorne, Colorado.

T-byrd worked as a jeweler, a beverage distributor and owned and operated Virgin Islands Lounge in Summit County.  Most recently he worked at Walmart.  Every job he held, he enjoyed serving and being with people.

In his spare time, he enjoyed sailing, skiing, biking, golf and home improvement projects.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his friends and family, and especially his wife Sara.  T-byrd had a knack for making even the littlest children feel special, going out of his way to help with projects or showing off his latest interesting find.  He will always be remembered for his easy-going kindness, his stories, his love for his wife and family, and his long mustache.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Karel and Betty Taborksy.  He is survived by his wife Sara Taborsky, his brothers and their families, Karel (Broey) & Kathy Taborsky, Lane & Bevy Taborsky, his nephews Noah and Max and niece Jillian, his best friend JG and many loving friends and in-laws.

A celebration of his life will be held on July 15 at Murphy's Pub, Silverthorne, CO from 12-2 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Michael Taborsky Memorial Fund, First Bank.

I was saddened to hear of "Boidy's" passing. What a wonderful friend he was to all of us. I was a "roomie" of his back in 1981-82 in Willowbrook....he was a gas. My heart goes out to you Sarah.

Tbyrd, our neighbor of many years, will always be in our hearts. He made us laugh, amazed us at all he knew and could do, and was always busy, but never to busy to stop & say hi. We will miss him, his joy for life was contagious.
Our love to Sara and all the families.

I was shocked to hear the news from my dear little sister Lacee that Birdy had passed away. He will always hold a very special place in my heart. Wow, we had such fun together in the 70s & 80s! Birdy always knew how to live life to the fullest and always had the greatest smile. You can be assured I will be talking to him a lot. Much love to you my dear Sara. I'm sad I didn't hear about the get together. I live in Wheat Ridge & would have loved to see everyone.
